[Panel] Setting Context - What is Democracy in the Digital Age?

Today, liberal democracies are caught between multiple challenges ranging from globalization, to technological innovation and their unintended externalities such as the rise of inequality, radicalisation and populism. In this panel we want to explore this current status and ask questions revolving around possible pathways to reimagine the democratic narrative and address the mentioned challenges through fresh ideas and emerging technologies.
