What does it mean to set emerging technologies in the context of social transformation? We want to set the stage for what we think is the prerequisite for tackling the challenges of our century: having the right visions and narratives in place in order to ignite people to make use of their agency and move towards a society, where human values such as empathy and community are at the center of action. What tools do emerging technologies give us at hand in order to realize new forms of existence? How do we need to frame them in order to support transitions towards a more human-centered approach?
