Nikolas is a tech and Internet policy expert with a passion for open source projects. Working as an independent consultant, he provides advice and research in the fields of technology & human rights, surveillance, and access to knowledge. As a political activist, Nikolas chairs the Net Politics Working Group of Bündnis 90/Die Grünen Berlin. He is an active member of Wikimedia Deutschland e.V. and its former chair of the board.
