Professor Chris Speed is Chair of Design Informatics at the University of Edinburgh where his research focuses upon the Network Society, Digital Art and Technology, and The Internet of Things. Chris is leading ‘Ox-Chain’, a major research project between three British universities and four research partners including Oxfam, bringing together experts in digital design, cryptography, business and international development, to explore how Blockchain technologies can be used to reshape value in a much broader and diversified way.
